21 Punished for Not Wearing in Sukabumi Utara

A number of Satpol PP personnel under Sukabumi Utara Urban Village and Kelapa Dua Urban Village, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, netted 21 residents for not wearing masks during the mask operation, on Tuesday (6/15).

Those violators are subject to social work sanctions by cleaning up trash on the streets

Sukabumi Utara Urban Village Satpol PP Head, Sumeri said the mask operation was focused on Jalan Madrasah II and Jalan Nelanpoli.

"Those violators are subject to social work sanctions by cleaning up trash on the streets," he expressed.

He explained that it was according to the Bylaw number 3/2020 on Implementation of Bylaw number 2/2020 on Handling Covi d-19 in Jakarta, as well as Gubernatorial Regulation number 3/2021 on Instructions for Implementing Bylaw number 3/2020 on Covid-19 Handling in Jakarta.

Then Governor Decree number 671/2021 on Extension of Micro-scale Public Activity Restrictions (PPKM Mikro).

"We also provide education regarding the importance of implementing Covid-19 prevention health protocols. We also distribute masks for free here," he stated.
